A map and some badges.

I feel like I didn't accomplish anything today, though in fact, I got a lot done. But it was the kind of stuff that I'm not sure anyone will notice except for me. I consolidated all of the loose base metal charms, packaged a lot of new silver findings, I set up an account with a wholesaler in Chicago (and will be visiting the warehouse June 20th...hoping to find Swarovskis!) Hmm, what else did I do today? I helped 4 Girl Scouts earn their badges! That was a lot of fun. The girls were really sweet and they produced some cute jewelry! They also seemed to think I was a "professional jeweler", which was a nice little boost. Unfortunately, my camera's memory card was full, so I only got a few pictures of them in action. And, I forgot to ask if I could post said photos on this blog, so, alas, there are no pictures of the little ladies.

Did I do anything else? You'd be surprised how long it takes to sort and consolidate beads. You would probably not be surprised to learn that it isn't fun. And it makes your hands smell...like when you've been handling pennies.

Dianne from "Girleez" stopped by today as well. Girleez is one of the stores participating in "Discover the Treasures of Manlius", and Dianne's sister (and business partner) Simone designed a beautiful "treasure" map. You know those little picture maps that seem to be ubiquitous to small towns in New England? They show you where all the local attractions are...it's a map like that, so cute, with the 11 stores featured in the event. Stop by to check it out and pick up an info sheet on the event!

Well...tomorrow is another day, and will bring another project.
