Freshies

I just bought SO MUCH new stuff for the store! Silver, Czech glass, and tons of new gemstones, holiday Swarovski earring kits, tools, findings. I actually lost a little sleep over all the goodness. You've got to come in and check it out...or better yet, BUY it! I'll post some pictures if I can figure out where to upload them. My mom took her lap-top to Belgium, and that's what I was using for the photo-dumps. Stay tuned, and don't lose faith. Speaking of Belgium, my dad had his hip surgery done there, and is recovering beautifully. He's already walking around with just 1 crutch and he had surgery 2 weeks ago. What a trooper.

I can't believe October is nearly over. I need to start cranking out some jewelry for the Holiday season. It's weird, this is my first holiday season in several years that I haven't had a show to prepare for. Sigh. I really love those craft shows. It's nice to buy and sell beads, but there is nothing like slaving over a piece, putting your heart and soul into it, and then selling it to someone who is as enamored with it as you are, and impressed beyond belief that you made it yourself. It's been hard to get my act together though, in terms of making my own stuff, because the store always takes precedence.
