Wow. My brain hurts. We've spent the past two days constructing boxes in PMC and today we attempted the hinges. It is NOT easy! I had every intention of coming home with 4 or 5 hinged boxes...I finished one...the easiest type of hinge, a swing hinge! I am working on applying a hinge to a lentil bead currently, but it's not an easy endeavor, (and Celie said the hinge-on-lentil is one of THE hardest. Siigh!) I am having a great time though, and feel that I have, at least, gotten more confident in making boxes, and I at least understand the concept of making the hinge. Meanwhile, I'm in Vermont, working with Celie Fago in PMC. Not much can trump that.
I've got to hinge away. I'd like to try to get the lentil completed tonight!
